AM96 CIAM Radio came into being in 1987. Playing contemporary hits of the 80s it was a popular AM station in the South Western Ontario Canada region. Located in Galt Ontario, which is now a part of Cambridge Ontario, it broadcast to the surrounding areas the biggest hits of the day to tens of thousands of listeners in the Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, Guelph, Brantford and all the surrounding areas. In 1997 they switched to 92.5FM and still played the best of 80s and 90s music. As time went on they changed again and again and care currently known as 91.5 The Beat, even though the frequency is 92.5FM still. They currently play Top 40 music and have some shows with hosts that talk about local and national music and other news related topics.Â
The hat is in fantastic overall condition. Looks like it has never been worn before. It's got a super rad design that really screams 80s promotional styling.Â
