The Philips CDi, short for Compact Disc Interactive, was a multimedia gaming console released in the early 1990s. Marketed as more than just a gaming system, the CDi aimed to be a comprehensive multimedia platform, capable of playing interactive CD-ROMs, audio CDs, and even displaying photo CDs.
