The Sega Genesis, or Sega Mega Drive in Europe and Japan, was Sega's answer to the Super Nintendo. With 16 bits of power Sega had a good portion of the gaming market worldwide with the Genesis console. With a large variety of games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Contra Hard Corps, Rocket Knight Adventures, Gunstar Heroes, TMNT the Hyperstone Heist, the Genesis was making a lot of noise in the gaming scene!

Sega worked hard to bring a lot of sports titles to the Genesis, cementing it's title as the best console for sports gaming in the 90s! With classics like NHL 94, Mutant League Football, Madden 95, World Series Baseball, NBA Jam and so many more adults and kids loved the sports games on the Genesis.
