Painters hats were all the rage back in the early 80s! This fad continued into the early 90s in the Southern and Western US States. The design of the hat is to wear it and have the brim face upwards instead of flat like a normal baseball cap. This is in great shape and dates from the early 80s. Most likely from 1981-1983.
