This rare promotional Tang drink mix telephone is an amazing addition to your oddball and weird 80s collection! It stands about 9" tall and is from 1985. The phone's buttons are located on the bottom and the phone is answered by picking it up and setting it back down hangs it back up. From what we can find these were only available in Canada and Japan for promotional use in Canada from Tang directly and in Japan from Shibori.Â
The original cord that came with the phone was in bad shape from the elastic used to keep it wrapped up and had to be discarded so it is not included with this phone. However they are all the same and any telephone cord will work fine. It has been tested and works totally fine.Â
