This Super Nintendo console suffers from the ever so common yellowing that happened to many SNES consoles over the years. Nintendo used a specific fire retardant in the plastic to keep everyone safe when they game. However over time as that retardant oxidized the plastic started to turn yellow. This doesn't effect the way the console performs at all and it is all aesthetic. It plays and works perfectly, it is just a little ugly.Â
This console was supposed to go up earlier for sale, however there is a plastic rattle inside of it and we are currently unable to open it up to remove the little piece of plastic that is causing the noise as someone, most likely me, has misplaced our 4.5mm security bit to do so. Once again this does not effect the way the console performs at all. It just adds to it's character. Â
So save some cash by picking up a little less good looking Super Nintendo and enjoy all the same!
